Sara Danniu Beck is a photographer, writer, and teacher based in Los Angeles, California. She studied creative writing and art at Hunter College, and she is pursuing her MFA in Photography and Media at the California Institute of the Arts. Her work depicts those who are closest to her, posing questions about intimacy, performance, and the passage of time. As she documents the lives of her family and friends, she hopes to bring forth their perspectives alongside her own with each image.
She currently writes for Southwest Art, Modern Impressionist Magazine, and F-Stop Magazine.
